Family Wealth Report is launching its first-ever awards program to honor outstanding performance in the wealth management industry.
The publisher of this website, fresh from the success of its
European and Asia-Pacific awards ceremonies held in London and
Singapore this
year, is broadening its reach by hosting the inaugural
Family Wealth Report
awards programme in New York. (Separately, as also announced,
a
Swiss/Liechtenstein awards programme has been launched, as
reported
elsewhere on this site.)
The winners from a shortlist will be announced at a gala
dinner to be held at the
Metropolitan Club, New York, on March 13, 2014.
Designed to honor best practice in this industry,
outstanding institutional and individual achievements, the awards
process
comprises
two judging panels, composed of investment advisors, who
judge the
trusted advisor categories, and other trusted advisors, judging
the investment
management categories. The panels are structured to ensure
commercially
sensitive information is kept confidential and to avoid conflicts
of interest.
External organizations will be brought into the process to ensure
views of the
overall industry, along with the end-user client base, are
represented.
This publication aims to host the awards evening in a slick
and snappy style, keeping the schedule tight – something that
busy executives
will surely appreciate.
The selection and judging process for the awards starts in
the summer of this year.
Nominations opened on August 6 and close on November
25. All firms will be told whether they have made the shortlist
by January 7,
2014. Entrants who are shortlisted will be announced on
Family Wealth Report – and its sister websites
WealthBriefingAsia and WealthBriefing.
There will also be an extensive public relations campaign to
highlight the
winners and shortlisted entrants.
The wealth management industry faces many challenges and it
has never been more important to recognize high-quality service
and
achievement. So we urge readers to
suggest nominations and get involved.
