DBS Continues To Make Senior Appointments

The bank has made a number of C-suite moves and continues to announce senior appointments.
Singapore-headquartered DBS, which recently announced a set of top-level moves, continued to make a number of senior hires yesterday.
With Koh Kar Siong’s appointment as head of group audit on 1 April, Chen Ze Ling – presently Singapore head of corporate banking – will succeed Koh as group head of corporate and SME banking, also effective on 1 April.
Chen will report to Han Kwee Juan, group head of institutional banking. Prior to his current role, Chen was most recently country head of DBS Australia, a role he assumed in 2019.
Welson Jamin, presently head of institutional banking group operations and international centres technology and operations, will be appointed group head of operations. Jamin, who has 25 years of technology and operations experience with DBS, will report to Derrick Goh, who will assume the role of group COO, also on 1 April.
Earlier in February, DBS said wealth management fees helped drive commercial book net fee income up by 23 per cent year-on-year to a record S$4.17 billion ($3.07 billion) in 2024.
