HSBC's Private Bank Toasts New Premium Credit Card

The card is an example of how HSBC seeks to tap into the habits and passions of HNW and UHNW clients often live an international, busy lifestyle.
HSBC has unveiled its first premium credit card that offers experiences curated exclusively for HSBC Global Private Banking clients. The card is known as HSBC Privé.
The card has been rolled out in conjunction with Mastercard; it is aimed at HNW and ultra-HNW customers. It gives worldwide access to private clubs, members-only launches and workspaces at more than 150 locations in Asia, Australia, Europe and the US. It also provides a complimentary business class airline ticket with major airlines, access to premium airport launches, airport limousine transfers, hotel night stays, hotel loyalty upgrades and travel insurance.
The UK/Hong Kong-listed bank said a survey of its private banking clients in early 2024 showed that the vast majority of those in Singapore (77 per cent) are existing HSBC credit cardholders. (The survey was conducted among 200 clients.)
Cardholders also can take advantage of complimentary tasting menus and take an accompanying guest to Michelin-starred restaurants and premium hospitality groups, courtesy green fees at specific golf course, and top membership status at specific stores in Paris and London.
“HSBC Privé is designed for people who strive for the same level of access and quality wherever they go,” Ari Sarker, president, Asia-Pacific, Mastercard, said.
