RBC WM Hires Senior Private Bankers In Hong Kong

The Canadian-headquartered bank, which offers comprehensive wealth management services, said these appointments will reinforce its ability to serve clients with complex, multi-jurisdictional wealth planning needs in the region.

RBC Wealth Management has appointed four senior private bankers based in Hong Kong.

Amanda Yeung, managing director and team head, has more than 25 years of wealth management experience. She was previously with China Construction Bank (Asia), where she was deputy general manager and deputy head of private banking. Previously, Yeung served in senior roles at Credit Suisse, DBS, and HSBC.

Felix Yuan, director, brings more than a decade of private banking experience from Standard Chartered Private Bank, where he was a director managing high net worth client relationships. His background includes stints at Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, and China Merchants Bank.

Anthony Shiu, director, has more than 20 years of wealth management experience across a wide spread of markets. Shiu was previously at BNP Paribas, where he was senior vice president specialising in ultra-high net worth advisory. His career includes roles at Citi Private Bank, CMB Wing Lung Bank, and Merrill Lynch.

Desmond Kwong, director, brings more than a decade of wealth management experience with a strong track record in the Greater China market. Previously, he was with BNP Paribas Wealth Management, where he was senior vice president. He has also worked at Julius Baer and HSBC.
