Phaidon International, which calls itself “the central structure that supports eight specialist recruitment firms”, has opened a new Hong Kong office - its second in Asia.
The decision to open the office in the jurisdiction came four years after it moved to open in Singapore. Phaidon International said it is “actively looking for talent” to support its growth plans locally and internationally, the Hong Kong team is currently hiring and plans to treble in size by 2015.
“We arrived in Singapore less than 4 years ago and have grown at unprecedented speed in the industry with net fee income increasing by nearly 400 per cent over that period. Hong Kong is the next step for us and with plans to open further offices globally there will be many more to come.” Adam Buck, CEO Phaidon International, said in a statement.
The initial focus in Hong Kong will be mid-senior level placements within investment banking, wealth management and human resources, provided by its brands: Selby Jennings, Carlton Senior Appointments and Sancus Associates.
Duncan Kennedy is regional director of the new Hong Kong office.
