The Swiss banking group has appointed an experienced banker to specifically serve Saudi Arabia clients, via Geneva.

Diego Pivoz has taken up the role in Geneva of relationship manager for ultra-high net worth clients for UBS, covering the Saudi Arabia market.

At UBS since February, Pivoz disclosed his move on his Linkedin page. UBS declined to comment about the matter.

Prior to joining the Zurich-listed bank, Pivoz was a senior relationship manager, working in the Middle East and North Africa team, at HSBC’s private bank. He was based in Geneva and worked there for more than four years in that role.

Pivoz has also worked at HSBC handling MENA and Latin America-related business. In the latter case, he was based in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area.
