WRISE Group Appoints Regional CIO

The newly-appointed figure has held senior positions at firms such as Julius Baer, Bank of America and Leonteq.

Singapore-headquartered WRISE Group has appointed Chen Jingwei as regional chief investment officer, with immediate effect.

Chen Jingwei will oversee all investment-related activities across the firm’s mass-affluent segment, WRISE Prestige Hong Kong, in addition to his responsibilities as chief investment strategist at WRISE Private Singapore.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Chen Jingwei held prominent positions at Julius Baer, Leonteq, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He holds a master’s degree in financial mathematics from Stanford University and a first-class honours bachelor’s degree in quantitative finance from National University of Singapore, with a full scholarship from the Ministry of Education in Singapore. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

The WRISE Group of companies include WRISE Wealth Management (Singapore), WRISE Wealth Management (Hong Kong), WRISE Wealth Management Middle East Ltd (DIFC, regulated by the DFSA), WeWrise Services, and affiliated companies WRISE Prestige Securities (Hong Kong), WRISE Prestige Asset Management (Hong Kong) and WRISE Financial Services (Hong Kong).

In September last year WRISE Prestige appointed Henry Shin as its new CEO.
