Brokers, a brokerage house, has launched NSE IFSC Nifty
50 Index Futures on the Singapore Exchange.
The index tracks the 50 largest and most liquid companies listed on India's National Stock Exchange, including sectors such as financial services, technology, oil and gas, and consumer goods.
"By offering Nifty 50 Index Futures, we are giving our clients an easy way to tap into the opportunities in India’s expanding market," Milan Galik, chief executive of Interactive Brokers, said.
Clients can trade dollar-denominated Nifty derivatives via the NSE IFSC-SGX Connect.
India’s standing as a wealth management and investment opportunity has risen in recent years on the back of increased economic growth, political reform and a pivot in supply chains to the country from China since US-China tariffs under the first Trump administration, and continuing since the pandemic.
