The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in the Asia Pacific region.

Paris-headquartered investment manager Amundi has announced a number
of senior appointments in Asia, bolstering its investment
capabilities to serve clients locally and capture growth
opportunities in the region.
Since the start of the year, Amundi said it has reinforced its Asia investment hub through the relocation and appointments of investment leaders to the region.
Based in Hong Kong, John O’Toole is a cornerstone of this initiative, as the newly-appointed chief investment officer, Asia. He is also retaining his current global responsibilities as global head and CIO of Amundi’s Solutions platform.
O’Toole joined Amundi in 2005 as global head of fund research and manager selection. He was appointed global head of fund solutions in 2010, global head and CIO of Amundi’s solutions platform in 2022, and additionally chief investment officer, Asia ex Japan for Amundi in 2026. O’Toole is a member of Amundi's Executive Committee.
Alongside his appointment, several other senior investment professionals have taken on roles in Asia: Andriy Boychuck, global deputy head of emerging markets fixed income, has been based in Singapore since May 2026.
In July 2026, Ray Jian was been named head of fixed income North Asia and head of emerging markets debt aggregate strategies, based in Hong Kong.
Nick McConway, head of emerging markets equities, Asia, will relocate to Singapore in September 2026, the firm continued. Siddharth Sanghvi has been appointed emerging markets equity senior portfolio manager.
