Mumbai financial services firm Avendus Capital has appointed Zarksis Gotla as executive director of its wealth management unit.

Gotla joins the firm from Deutsche Bank Private Wealth management, where he has served for the last five years. Prior to that, he was with BNP Paribas Wealth Management. At Avendus, he will be part of the senior management team, with a focus on the Western region, and will report to Nikhil Kapadia, chief executive officer.

The company has been actively bolstering its senior ranks in the past months, most recently with the appointment of George Mitra as executive director for wealth management.
