Asia-Based MCM Partners Launches Family Office Platform

The organisation has also appointed a senior figure with a background in banking and family offices to head up the new business area.
Hong Kong-based MCM Partners, specialising in areas such as investment management and capital markets, late last week said it had launched a family office offering.
In an announcement on its corporate LinkedIn page, MCM said it has launched MCM Family Office. As part of the rollout, it has appointed Christophe Page to head the operation. He has a two-decade track record of working in private banking, alternative investments and family office advisory. Senior roles include those at UBS, Pictet, Landholt & Cie, and advisory work for one of “Switzerland’s largest single-family offices,” it said.
Establishing this service comes at a time when Hong Kong and other Asia hubs such as Singapore are competing to establish their pre-eminence as family office centres.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Page was managing director at Precious & Associates Family Offices in Geneva, and head of family office, and investment committee member for Swiss China Center, in Shenzhen; he was also head of private investments for Novastone Capital, based in Geneva.
“Built on our philosophy of enduring partnership, MCM Family Office brings together family office advisory, wealth management, and wealth planning under a dedicated independent platform. Clients can access targeted advisory services or a more holistic service,” the firm, which is headquartered in Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong, said late last week.
“Over the years, many of our clients have engaged with MCM across different stages of their personal and business journey. The launch of MCM Family Office is a natural extension of that partnership, allowing us to support families more comprehensively as their needs evolve over time,” Dan Rose, CEO of MCM Partners, said.
Besides Rose, other senior figures at MCM are Adrian Valenzuela (founder and president); Vivian Liu (partner and group chief operating officer); Angie Ma (CEO of wealth); Katherine Williams (head of strategy); and Wenbin Dong (partner of MCM Investment Parners). The firm was set up in 2012.
