AWARDS: Outstanding Wealth Management Firms, Individuals Honoured In Singapore

The publisher of this website hosted its inaugural awards for Asia-based wealth managers, trust firms and other key organisations in Singapore at the legendary Raffles Hotel.

(Editor's note: WealthBriefingAsia is the sister publication of this website. I am sure that readers in other parts of the world will be interested to see how Asia-based firms and individuals have fared.)

Outstanding wealth management firms and individuals were
honoured at the inaugural WealthBriefingAsia 2013 Awards in the sumptuous setting of Singapore’s
renowned Raffles Hotel last night.

At a time when the Asian wealth management industry, along
with those in other regions, has had to face the challenges of mounting
regulation and more demanding client requirements, the judges picked winners
who it was felt had a particular edge in their respective fields.

Accenture was the headline sponsor and category
sponsors were the Association of International Wealth Management of India, ANZ Private Bank
and Scorpio Partnership.

A participating organisation at the event was the
Association of Independent Asset Managers, Singapore. Entertainment was
provided by Jeff Zhai Jian, a musician and saxophonist
who has been dubbed “Singapore’s
Kenny G” due to his mastery of soprano sax and smooth jazz music. Also performing were Accoustic Saturday, a multi-talented
group of musicians.

The audience was welcomed by Bruce Weatherill, chairman of ClearView Financial Media; Stephen
Harris, managing director of ClearView Financial Media; and Grant Powell,
managing director at Accenture.

The publisher of this website is delighted at the level of
interest and support shown for these awards, which follow from the highly
successful WealthBriefing Europe 2013 Awards event held in London on 2 May this year. This website greatly values
any comments and feedback about the awards process, and invites readers to get in
touch ahead of next year’s events, on which details will be revealed in due
course.
