Advent Rolls Out New Version Of Portfolio Management Software

Advent Software, the US-based wealth management software firm, has rolled out Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) 4, which it says is the newest version of its portfolio management software.

APX aims to streamline operations and enhance access to data across a firm. With the new version of its product, Advent has now introduced customisable dashboard capabilities, which it says offer an “entirely new way for everyone in the firm to select and personalise the information they need to perform their jobs”.

“With the dashboards in APX 4, everyone in the firm — from portfolio managers to operations staff to client service teams – gains a new tool to enable them to work more effectively,” said Michele Holton, director, product marketing, Advent.

“APX 4 also includes enhancements for global accounting. Firms can now enter, view and store foreign exchange rates between any currencies. This flexibility makes it easier for firms to trade, settle and report on global assets and manage global portfolios,” said Holton added.

APX 4 is available for firms as an onsite deployment or through Advent OnDemand, Advent’s Saas model that brings APX to the cloud.
