The new arrival at the family office has worked at a raft of international and domestic Asian banks.

Arthur Fong (main photo), a senior figure in Asia’s wealth sector, has joined Wisdom Family Office, a multi-family office, as managing director and senior advisor. Fong said his appointment is “subject to completion of onboarding and regulatory licensing.”

Fong joined this month after concluding his role with Paragon Capital Management (Hong Kong), an external asset manager (EAM), on 15 January. He set up Paragon's Hong Kong office as its local CEO, establishing the firm's North Asia presence.

His online details show that he worked at Schroders, Bank of Singapore, Credit Suisse, UBS and Citigroup. Fong, who brings more than 20 years’ experience in the financial industry, has also figured in Singaporean public life, having been a member of parliament for 14 years, ending in October 2015. He is also a consultant/assessor at the Wealth Management Institute (WMI), and a member, professional curriculum review panel, at Singapore Management University.

Wisdom is present in Singapore and Hong Kong.

In 2023, Grant Ko, co-founder and chairman of Wisdom Group, became a chair of the Research Sub Committee at the Family Office Association Hong Kong.
