The pact highlights how Asia and the Middle East are pushing forward as places in which family offices are taking shape and developing.

The Emirates Family Office Association and the Association of Family Offices in Asia have announced that they are collaborating in a new partnership. 

The pact comes at a time when Asia and the Middle East are rising as regions in which family offices are increasingly taking shape.

AFO and EFOA will launch initiatives, including setting up thematic workshops and conferences, forming delegations that seek regional economic acceleration and cultural exchange, hosting next-generation leadership programmes and sharing talent and network for benefiting members in the communities.

In Asia, financial centres such as Singaore and Hong Kong are pushing to be pre-eminent locales for family offices, and in the Gulf, jurisdictions such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi are doing so.
