Australian Investment Firm Names New Managing Director

Wilson HTM appoints acting CEO as its new managing director.

Wilson HTM Investment Group has named a new managing director to replace Andrew Coppin, who resigned in 2013.

Effective 11 April 2014, Sandy Grant takes the helm as the new managing director. Grant has been acting chief executive officer since 2 July 2013 and will retain her role as director of Pinnacle Investment Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WIG. 

According to the firm's announcement, Grant had a total fixed base salary of A$400,000 ($376,000) per annum and is entitled to receive a bonus for the 2014 year capped at A$400,000, of which an amount of A$100,000 is guaranteed. Also, subject to approval at a general meeting of WIG shareholders, he will be granted options to subscribe for 1.2 million shares i the company. 

His appointment is for a fixed term until 30 June 2015.

In July 2013, Coppin stepped down from his role after the board saw a conflict of interest in the former's plan to buy out Wilson HTM's security business.
