Australian Wealth Manager Widens Expat Service

The firm has extended the footprint of its Australian expat services business to Abu Dhabi.

Atlas Wealth Management, which focuses on serving expat Australians, has widened its reach to Abu Dhabi.

As part of the move, AWM has appointed Daniel Hackett to the Atlas team. Hackett has worked in financial services for nine years, including working as a tax accountant and financial planner in Australia. An Australian national, he has also worked serving expats.

Brett Evans, managing director of Atlas Wealth Management, said the move means Australian expats in Abu Dhabi will be able to obtain financial advice that not only relates to their assets back in Australia but also their status as a non-resident.

“With the Australian expat community growing rapidly in Abu Dhabi we saw that it was imperative to deliver this service to meet their needs. With both the Australian and foreign governments rapidly changing their respective tax rules the need for specialised advice has never been more important”. Daniel will continue in his role as Vice President of Future Insurance’s Abu Dhabi team that will enable him to provide his clients with their offshore market capabilities,” Hackett said.
