BNP Paribas IP Launches Certificate Programme With CFA Institute

BNP Paribas Investment Partners improves on its educational offering for staff through a partnership with the CFA Institute.
BNP Paribas Investment Partners, part of the French banking giant BNP Paribas, has partnered with the CFA Institute to launch a new programme to help further develop its staff.
The company is a long-standing sponsor of the CFA Institute, which specialises in developing educational and training programmes for individuals in the financial services industry. The new Claritas Investment Certificate, the latest programme from the institute, was launched across BNP Paribas IP's offices worldwide throughout March, April and May this year.
In Asia-Pacific, BNP is working closely with the regional offices of CFA and MDA Training, the international training provider with a focus on the industry, to deliver a blended asset management learning programme for its Asia-Pacific staff alongside the Claritas curriculum and assessment.
"We are encouraged to see a broad spectrum of our colleagues across Asia Pacific sign up for the Claritas programme--ranging from emerging markets such as India and China, to developed market locations such as Australia. Interest was not restricted to just a particular function with functions from client servicing and operations to finance and secretarial support staff represented," noted Alex Ng, chief investment officer for Asia-Pacific, in a statement.
The Claritas Investment Certificate is accessible to a wide range of professionals working with investment decision makers in functions, such as operations, administration, IT, HR, marketing, sales, compliance and customer service. It is self-study course which requires between 80 to 100 hours of study over a six month period.
