Latest moves and appointments at BNP wealth management.

BNP Paribas Wealth Management has announced the appointment of Tariq Saliem as head of credit for wealth management APAC, BNP Paribas, starting in November.
 
Saliem will bring a wealth of experience to the bank, the firm said in a statement. 

Prior to joining BNP Paribas, he was the global head of lending products and credit structuring at Bank of Singapore, where he led the teams in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai to build up the lending products and credit structuring business, the firm added. 

Before that, he worked at Barclays, BNP Paribas, UBS and Standard Chartered across different locations in Asia and the Middle East. 
 
Welcoming the move, Arnaud Tellier, CEO Asia Pacific, Wealth Management, BNP Paribas, said: “Credit is an essential driver of our business in Asia and a key enabler of our 2025 Strategic Plan. I am confident that his expertise and experience will enable us to keep offering market-leading lending solutions to support our clients’ needs and objectives.”
 
Based in Hong Kong, he will report hierarchically to Arnaud Tellier, CEO Asia Pacific, Wealth Management, BNP Paribas, and functionally to Remi Lefevre-Moulenq, global head of Wealth Management Credit, BNP Paribas.
