BNY Mellon Investment Management Recruits In Australia

BNY Mellon said its Australian investment management business is experiencing "great momentum", particularly across private debt, alternatives and multi-asset strategies.
BNY Mellon Investment Management has named Denis Gambi as director of institutional business for Australia.
Gambi will provide investment-related services to the firm’s institutional, corporate, government and ultra-high net worth clients. He will report to Phil Filippelis, country head for Australia.
Since starting his career 12 years ago at Citibank, Gambi has held a number of senior roles across the Australian financial services industry. Recent roles have included head of product at AMP Capital, head of premium market sales at Westpac Bank, and head of sales and originations at Lehman Brothers.
The multi-boutique asset manager has $1.6 trillion in assets under management as of end-December 2016.
