BNY Mellon Recruits In Denver-Rocky Mountain Region

BNY Mellon said the Denver-Rocky Mountain region is an expanding wealth market and therefore a key growth area for the firm.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed T Scott Fleming as regional president in Denver, CO, reporting to David Emmes, president of US western markets at the firm.

Fleming will move from Tampa, FL, where he had been managing director and head of wealth management at The Bank of Tampa. Previously, he was senior vice president and complex manager at Wells Fargo Advisors in Orlando, FL.

Earlier still, Fleming served as complex manager at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Kansas City, MO, and Denver.

“Joining BNY Mellon’s Denver office represents a homecoming for Scott, who previously lived and worked in the Denver area for over a decade,” said Emmes. “Scott’s deep experience and successful leadership of financial advisor teams make him an excellent fit for this important role in Colorado’s growing wealth market.”
