Bank J Safra Sarasin Announces Senior Hire For South East Asia

Bank J Safra Sarasin names former BSI executive to as vice chair for South East Asia.

Bank J Safra Sarasin, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Swiss private bank the Safra Group, has bolstered its South East Asian business with a senior hire.

Jennie Hananto joins the company as vice chair for client advisory, South East Asia. She steps in from BSI Bank, Singapore, where she had been deputy head of South East Asia since 2010. Prior to that, she was senior vice president and team head for Indonesia at Clariden Leu, Singapore, and director and country head of private banking at Societe Generale. She also worked for Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Citibank and First Interstate Bank of California.

She reports to Eric Morin, chief executive officer for the Singapore branch and South East Asia.

Bank J Safra Sarasin in Asia is located in Singapore and Hong Kong and specialises in private wealth management for clients in the Asian region.
