Bank Of East Asia Names Hong Kong-Based Regional PB Head

The head of the private bank in the region has previously worked at BMO Private Banking in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Jaye Chiu has been named regional head of private banking at Bank of East Asia, based in Hong Kong. He had previously been head of investment products and the advisory department from July 2020.
Chiu announced his appointment on his LinkedIn page. BEA confirmed details to this publication.
Before BEA, he was managing director, regional head of investment management at the private bank, at BMO Private Banking, in Singapore and Hong Kong.
“I am excited to announce that I have been appointed as the regional head of private banking at The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA)! I am thrilled to embark on this journey, serve our clients and contribute to the success of our business in the region,” Chiu wrote on his LinkedIn page.
In July 2020, The Bank of East Asia (China), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of East Asia, appointed Montgomery Ho Shun-wah as executive director and chief executive.
