Swaika worked at Julius Baer from the start of 2017; prior to this, he was a director for just over two years at ANZ, also based in Singpaore, and prior to this, worked at Religare Macquarie Private Wealth, in the investments, advisory and family office area. He has also worked at ICICI Bank.
Swaika reports to Zubin Dabu, market group head, Middle East, Global South Asia and International.
"His appointment reflects Bank of Singapore’s continued
investment in strengthening its Global South Asia franchise and
deepening its capabilities in serving the complex wealth
management needs of non-resident Indian (NRI), ultra-high net
worth and high net worth clients," Bank of Singapore said in a
statement.
In January, BoS appointed Collins Chin as global chief financial officer, succeeding Ho Soo Woon, who left the bank in March 2025.
