Bank Of Singapore Names New COO For Asia

The former Standard Chartered figure will take the helm to succeed a figure who has been at Julius Baer for 23 years.
Julius Baer has appointed Pamela Tseng as its chief operating officer for Asia, taking effect from 16 October. Tseng (pictured below) will be joining from standard Chartered Bank where she served in the global COO role in its private bank.

Andreas Zingg, who is the current COO for Asia, will be retiring from Julius Baer after 23 years with the Swiss bank.
Prior to Standard Chartered Bank, Tseng held senior leadership positions at Citi in New York and Hong Kong, and earlier with Accenture in Singapore and Beijing.
“Her proven track record in overseeing complex, large-scale operations, driving strategic transformation, and cultivating high-performing teams will be a tremendous asset to the Group,” Nabaa said in a statement. “Given her deep understanding of Asian markets, I am confident she will further strengthen our capabilities across the region. I look forward to working closely with her as we continue to advance our business in Asia and globally and deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. At the same time, I would like to thank Andreas Zingg for his contributions and wish him a fulfilling next chapter.”
In late July the bank appointed former Bank of Singapore senior manager Nira Tanoko (pictured below) as market head for Southeast Asia.
