BlackRock Appoints New Head Of Multi-Asset Strategies For Asia

BlackRock has appointed Edward Bang has been appointed as head of multi-asset strategies Asia Pacific.

BlackRock has appointed Edward Bang has been appointed as head of multi-asset strategies Asia Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong, Bang will report to Ryan Stork, head of Asia Pacific and Ken Kroner, global head of multi-asset strategies., BlackRock said in a statement.

Bang joins from UBS Global Asset Management, where he had been head strategist, Asia Pacific, for global investment solutions. Before that, he was CEO and head of Asia at Olivant, where he was one of four founding senior partners. He has also previously worked in senior equity portfolio management roles at York Capital Management, Wellington Management, Fidelity and The Boston Company.

“Multi-asset solutions play an increasingly important role here in Asia Pacific, as investors seek investment strategies that employ sophisticated asset allocation, rigorous risk management and exhaustive research to deliver outcomes tailored to their needs.
