Chubb Appoints New Head In Hong Kong Division

Chubb has named a new country president for its life insurance division in Hong Kong.
Chubb, the US-based insurer which provides wealth management services, has appointed Michael Ho as country president for Chubb Life, the life insurance division of Chubb, in Hong Kong.
Ho joins Chubb from Prudential Asia, where he most recently served as regional chief agency officer, responsible for building and developing the regional agency capabilities in Asia. In his role at Chubb Life, Ho will be responsible for leading the Hong Kong operations for Chubb Life, which provides a broad range of life insurance and wealth management services.
“Michael will be a great addition to lead and build our Hong Kong operation with his wealth of distribution experience and market knowledge,” said Kevin Goulding, regional president of Chubb Life, Asia-Pacific. “He will play a key role in further developing a culture of organisational excellence supporting our multiple distribution channels.”
Chubb Life operates in 30 countries around the world. In Asia, Chubb Life operates in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, and participates in a joint-venture in China. Chubb Life has been in Hong Kong since 1976, and launched its global wealth management business from Hong Kong in 2015.
