Citi PB Hires Taiwan Global Market Manager

The new hire will be responsible for growing the bank's business with UHNW individuals from Taiwan.
Citi Private Bank has appointed Sally Yeh as global market manager for Taiwan, with immediate effect.
Based in Hong Kong, Yeh reports to Rudolf Hitsch, Citi Private Bank’s North Asia head, it said in a statement.
In her role as global market manager for Taiwan, Yeu is responsible for growing Citi Private Bank’s business with ultra-high net worth individuals from Taiwan, and managing teams based in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
She joins Citi Private Bank from UBS, where she most recently led a team of offshore bankers working with entrepreneurs from Taiwan. She has over 20 years of experience in various financial fields focused on the needs of business owners and investors from Taiwan.
Yeh started her career in Taiwan in asset management, before moving on to work in investment banking for eight years. In 2009, Sally joined UBS as a private banker based in Hong Kong and covered the bank’s UHNW segment.
“Entrepreneurial families in Taiwan have built successful businesses over the past several decades, many of which are now global market leaders with an international footprint in specialised niche markets,” said Hitsch. “These families have become global citizens with specific needs reflecting their increasing interest in global investment opportunities. Under Sally’s guidance, I am confident we will be able to leverage Citi Private Bank’s global connectivity, expertise, and deep-rooted presence in Asia to meet the needs of our entrepreneurial clients and their families.”
