Collas Crill Names New Partner In Singapore

The offshore law firm has recruited a British Virgin Islands specialist in Asia.
Collas Crill has appointed Stephen Adams as a partner in its Singapore office.
Adams joins from Bedell Cristin, where he headed up the Singapore office and was a senior member of the British Virgin Islands practice area. Before that, he founded BVI law firm Barker Adams following his role as corporate senior partner at Walkers in the BVI.
He has been practising offshore for almost 20 years, advising on a range of commercial cross-border matters including joint ventures, mergers, acquisition finance, asset and project finance, investment funds, alternative investments, private equity and capital market transactions. He brings particular experience in trust and private client matters, having held senior positions in several trust and corporate services businesses.
“Stephen's depth of knowledge and expertise will prove invaluable at this current time following our merger with BVI firm Farara Kerins,” said Collas Crill's group managing partner, Jason Romer.
“His appointment to our Singapore office will allow us to offer real-time BVI advice from Singapore, further extending our offering to clients and reach in Asia.”
