Credit Suisse's Private Bank Hires From Rival In Asia

This publication brings more news of moves in the wealth management industry in Asia.

The private banking arm of Credit Suisse has appointed a former senior relationship manager from a rival firm in Hong Kong.

The Zurich-listed bank has appointed Abhishek Mehrotra, who took up the post this month. He previously worked as a director at HSBC Private Bank from 2010 to July 2015. Before that, he was a vice president for commercial banking at HSBC from 2008 to 2010, according to details on his LinkedIn profile.

He also attended the Asian Institute of Management, and held the role of associate vice president at HSBC India from 2004 to 2006.

Among other recent moves at Credit Suisse, in July it appointed Selina Sia as head of Greater China equity research for the firm’s private banking and wealth management arm. She is based in Hong Kong.
