DWF's Former Head Of Family Launches London Law Firm

The firm will offer advice on every aspect of family law, from divorce and associated financial proceedings to pre-nups.

Manders Law has opened its office in the City of London at 1 Cornhill EC3V 3ND. It was established by family lawyer Mary Ann Wright, formerly a partner at Gunnercooke, and previously head of family in DWF's City of London office.

The firm advises clients on every aspect of family law, from divorce and associated financial proceedings often with an international element, along with prenuptial agreements, complex Children Act matters, including wardship cases and international child abduction.

Wright is joined by partner Raj Bhattoa, also formerly of DWF, who is a resolution accredited high net worth (HNW) expert.

“Having identified a gap in the City market in this sector, my vision was to establish a boutique family law practice in the heart of the City of London, providing first rate technical and commercially aware advice, to high net worth clients who naturally want to protect their interests with price certainty,” said Manders. “There is strong demand in the City for advice of the quality that only experienced specialist lawyers in this field can offer. Manders Law is the perfect platform to use our expertise, strong financial awareness and deep sector knowledge of the City, to build our client offering. Our commitment to family law, and dedication to the needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, leads me to be confident we will go from strength to strength.”
