Deutsche's Private Bank Adds To North Asia Team

The German private bank has made a number of senior appointments in recent months for its North Asia business.

Deutsche Bank Private Bank, part of Deutsche Bank, has appointed Dominic Cheung (main picture) as director in the investment management team within its North Asia region.

Based in Hong Kong and reporting to Cora Chiu (pictured below), head of investment management, North Asia, Cheung has worked in the sector for almost two decades.

Cheung most recently worked at JP Morgan where he was an investment specialist leading an investment advisory team. He also worked at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFH. Cheung holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Otago, Dunedin, in New Zealand and speaks business-standard Japanese.

Cheung “joins us with a strong mandate to develop comprehensive and tailored asset management strategies for ultra-high net worth clients; and to provide strategic guidance on wealth management and customised multi-asset investment solutions,” Chiu said in a memo.
