EXCLUSIVE: Senior Private Banker In Singapore Leaves US Firm

A senior private banker working for JP Morgan in Singapore, Ling Kuo, has resigned from the US banking group, this publication has learned. Kuo’s future plans are unclear.
Kuo, who has the post of executive director, most recently covered China and reported, this publication understands, to Gabriel Chan, who headed the private wealth management team for Greater China. (Chan had previously worked for DBS.)
Among other recent moves in Asia, JP Morgan appointed David Li as senior country officer for China. He previously worked at UBS for nine years; his latest role was as chairman and country head for China. One of the senior private banking figures for JP Morgan in Singapore, Nathan Slack, left the city-state to take up a senior post at the same firm in Florida.
