Eastspring Appoints Regional Head Of Sales

The latest moves and appointments at Eastspring Investments, the Asia-based investment management arm of Prudential plc.
Eastspring Investments has appointed George Ferraz as regional head of intermediary sales to help increase business growth.
Ferraz, who joined Eastspring in June, reports to Wendy Lim, regional CEO of Asia and global head of distribution, marketing and products.
Based in Singapore, Ferraz will develop Eastspring’s regional intermediary sales strategy, and partner with local retail sales teams to ensure strategic alignment, the firm said in a statement. He will also strengthen and build on Eastspring’s partnerships with key regional distributors and global private banks, Eastspring added.
He has over 26 years’ experience, and was most recently director of new business development and relationship management at BNY Mellon in Boston, where he was responsible for Asia-Pacific distribution channels. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Fidelity Investments in global and channel relationship management roles, the firm added.
“In his last role, Ferraz was responsible for growth in AUM across the Asia-Pacific region. His extensive experience, familiarity with Asian markets, and global network position him well to lead the growth of our intermediary sales business,” Lim said.
Welcoming the move, Ferraz said: “I am excited to join a business that will allow me to leverage my network and experience, and I look forward to working closely with the team to solidify Eastspring’s position as a leading asset manager in the region and beyond.”
Eastspring Investments, part of Prudential plc, is an Asia-based asset manager that manages over $258 billion of assets, as at 31 December 2021, on behalf of institutional and retail clients. Operating in Asia since 1994, Eastspring provides investment solutions across a broad range of strategies including equities, fixed income, multi asset, quant and alternatives.
