The bank said it has made a number of strategic hires for its Global South Asia teams in recent months, serving non-resident Indian and other clients in its region via Singapore, Dubai and other centres.

Bank of Singapore has appointed former DBS Private Bank senior manager Diya Amarnani as a relationship manager in the Global South Asia franchise.

Amarnani, who is based in Singapore, reports to Bikram Sen, market head, Global South Asia and International at BoS. 

At DBS Private Bank, Amarnani advised high net worth clients on their wealth management and investment needs. She brings close to 15 years of experience in private banking, wealth management and financial advisory. Prior to joining DBS Private Bank, she was a director with Taurus Wealth Advisors.

The Global South Asia franchise is led by Zubin Dabu, market group head, Middle East, Global South Asia and International. 

Amarnani's appointment follows hires in Singapore, such as those of Ankit Swaika and Yatish Aron, both of whom will join the bank as team heads in the coming months. Other hires over the past year include those of Priyanka Maheshwari who joined from HSBC Private Bank, Dinesh Chaudhary who joined from Julius Baer, and Ritika Patel who joined from UBS.

The bank also added RMs Mahesh Ramakrishnan and Shikhy Chandhok in its Global South Asia franchise in Dubai.
