Fund Services Group Implements Advent Portfolio, Fund Accounting System

Maples Fund Services, with $30 billion of assets under administration, has implemented the Geneva portfolio management and fund accounting product of Advent Software, the US business.

Maples implemented Geneva to link its global offices on a single, real-time portfolio accounting platform.

“Alternative fund managers face unprecedented reporting requirements and investor due diligence, and they are turning to their administrators for support,” said Chris Momsen, senior vice president and general manager of global accounts at Advent.

Maples Fund Services has been in the fund administration business since 2005, part of the Maples FS group that started in 1997. It operates in centres including Canada, the Cayman Islands, Dubai, Hong Kong, Ireland and Luxembourg.
