New Office
Hayfin Capital Management Opens Seoul Office

The business has been through a variety of changes, including an MBO and infusion of external capital into the organisation.
London-headquartered Hayfin Capital Management, which manages alternative investments, is opening a new office in Seoul.
The office is located at Three IFC in Yeouido, in the South Korean city's financial district.
Hayfin is taking the move after its management buyout closed in February 2025; Samsung Life has subsequently invested in the firm as a strategic minority shareholder, alongside Mubadala and AXA IM Prime.
The firm has offices in Chicago, Dubai, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, Munich, New York, Paris, Stockholm, San Diego and Tokyo.
Sijin (Chris) Choi, who has joined Hayfin, heads the Seoul office. He has nearly two decades of experience across investments and institutional capital formation. Most recently, he was head of private equity APAC at UBS Asset Management.
Hayfin Capital Management has about €40 billion ($44.8 billion) in assets under management.
