Heartwood Wealth Management, the London-based independent wealth manager, has hired Mark Wills as relationship director for its client services team.

Wills, who has over 25 years of industry experience, will join Heartwood’s London office in August and report to Guy Hudson, head of client services and distribution.

He will be responsible for introducing Heartwood’s investment and wealth management services to new clients with liquid assets ranging from £1 million (about $1.4 million) to over £20 million.

Wills joins from UBS Wealth Management, where he spent 11 years as an executive director. He was one of the co-founders of UBS Wealth Management in the UK in 1999.

Prior to his time at UBS, he was head of client investment services at HSBC Asset Management

“With such extensive experience and a proven track record in establishing long-term client relationships, Mark is an excellent addition to our client team, and is the latest in a series of senior appointments Heartwood has made across the business,” said Hudson.
