India's 360 ONE Names New Chief Executive

The new CEO has worked at Jeffries, CLSA and Merrill Lynch.

360 ONE, an Indian wealth, asset manager and capital markets group, announced yesterday that former Jeffries senior figure Aashish Agarwal has become CEO of the 360 ONE WAM Group.

The previous CEO, Karan Bhagat, will be appointed as vice chairman and continue as managing director of the group.

At Jefferies, Agarwal was MD and country head from April 2020 and has grown the India franchise over the past six years. Prior to Jefferies, he spent 13 years at CLSA, latterly as executive director and head of research. He spent the early part of his career at Merrill Lynch (2004–2007).

Yatin Shah, co-founder, 360 ONE, continues to be a key figure in the organisation and in driving its growth.

In August, Abhishek Bhalotia was appointed as chief growth and people officer.

360 ONE has three main business lines: Wealth management, asset management and capital markets. The firm manages assets of more than $82 billion, serving more than 8,900 families, corporates, and institutions.
