International Trading Platform Names Asia CEO

Canada-headquartered multi-asset trading firm OANDA has appointed Kazuaki Takabatake as managing director and chief executive for the Asia-Pacific region, based in Singapore. 

Takabatake has 25 years’ experience in the industry. He takes over from Rajesh Yohannan, who has moved to other endeavours, the firm told this publication when asked about the matter. Takabatake previously worked for Saxo Capital Markets.

OANDA provides services to clients trading market indices, commodities, treasuries, precious metals and currencies via a number of platforms. The firm has seven offices worldwide in Toronto, San Francisco, New York, London, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.
