JP Morgan Reportedly Names Asia-Pacific Vice Chair

Reports said the US bank has named a vice chair for its APAC operations.

JP Morgan has appointed Alex To as its vice chair for Asia-Pacific, Reuters reported, referring to an internal memo.

In his new role, To will report to JP Morgan APAC chief executive Sjoerd Leenart.

Prior to this, To was CEO of CDH Investments.

Reports said that To was being appointed to strengthen its investment banking side; they did not refer to whether he will have any involvement in JP Morgan's private banking.
