Law Firm Adds To Asia Practice

The international law firm continues to build out its practice in Singapore.

International law firm Carey Olsen has expanded its corporate practice in Asia, recruiting partner Antony McKenzie to its Singapore team, relocating him from the firm's office in the Cayman Islands.

Singapore managing partner Linda Lee said: “Since our launch last October we are seeing increasing demand for our expertise from clients, intermediaries and international law firms in Asia."

McKenzie's areas of expertise include regulated and unregulated investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and listings, joint ventures, secured and unsecured finance arrangements, preference share issues and capital markets transactions.

He has been a partner at Carey Olsen since 2012. Prior to joining Carey Olsen he worked with Allen & Overy in London and Australia, and with Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands.
