M&G Investments Appoints APAC Compliance Head

The new appointee formerly worked at UBS Asset Management.
M&G Investments, part of UK-headquartered M&G has appointed Ruth Poh as Asia-Pacific compliance head, based in Singapore. She reports to Tim Page, the chief compliance officer for M&G Investments.
With more than 20 years’ experience in compliance and operational risk, Poh has built regional frameworks, engaged with regulators and supported business growth and development, M&G said.
Poh is joining from UBS Asset Management, where she was head of compliance and operational risk control. She is also chair of the regulatory committee at the Investment Management Association of Singapore.
“We are building M&G’s business in Asia Pacific with a clear focus on where our investment capabilities are most relevant to clients. Ruth’s deep regional experience and understanding of asset management will be instrumental as we accelerate our growth, supported by strong, effective oversight and a long-term perspective,” Amy Cho, head of Asia-Pacific, M&G Investments, said.
M&G has £371.4 billion ($492.89 billion) of assets under management.
