Northern Trust Asset Management, part of US-based Northern Trust, has appointed Miles Mallick to the newly-created role of chief operating officer, Asia-Pacific, effective from 1 July, the firm said in a statement yesterday.

Mallick, who was most recently head of investment operations and data and analytics at Telstra Super, has more than 25 years of experience in various leadership roles in asset management, wealth management, and fintech firms.
“Our NTAM business across APAC continues to see strong momentum, with a near doubling of our client base over the past four years,” McCareins said.
NTAM has a presence across APAC in Melbourne, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore. Globally, it oversees $1.2 trillion of investor assets as of 31 March.
