RICS Adds New Head To Lead Asia Pacific

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has appointed Will Myles as the regional managing director for Asia Pacific to lead the next phase of its expansion in the region.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has appointed Will Myles as the regional managing director for Asia Pacific to lead the next phase of its expansion in the region.

Myles was most recently managing director for Bahrain and Kuwait for WS Atkins, leading the organisation through a period of significant change.

He joined Atkins in 2004 and led the investment appraisal team at Atkins Management Consultants UK, before moving to Bahrain in 2008 to set up a management consulting service line.

Myles was previously based in the Asia Pacific region for Holcim, the Swiss cement major, and Wing Hing, a Chinese construction conglomerate.

"I am delighted that Will Myles will be taking up the role of Regional Managing Director Asia Pacific from August 2014. Over the last five years, RICS has seen significant growth of the profession and the recognition of its standards across the Asia Pacific region, covering North Asia, South Asia, Oceania and ASEAN. Will will lead the next phase of our expansion across this strategically important region,” said global chief executive Sean Tompkins.
