Raffles Family Office Names New Chief Investment Officer

Raffles Family Office has appointed an industry veteran as its first chief investment officer to strengthen investment capabilities.

Raffles Family Office, a multi-family office in Asia, yesterday appointed Ken Peng (pictured) as chief investment officer, with immediate effect.

In this newly created role, Peng will lead the firm’s investment function and help shape its investment strategy, the firm said in a statement. He will also provide stakeholders with insights into macroeconomic trends, investment themes, and the long-term sustainability of portfolios.

Based in Hong Kong, Peng reports to Chi Man Kwan, group chief executive officer.

“The investment needs of families have grown more complex and demanding,” Kwan said. “Establishing the chief investment officer role is a deliberate step in meeting client needs and deepening our institutional strength. Ken's appointment reinforces our commitment to Asia and helps forge lasting, sustainable relationships with our clients.”

Peng brings more than 20 years in the private wealth industry across Greater China and the US, where he has led investment teams and shaped asset allocation strategy at global financial institutions. Prior to joining RFO, he held senior positions at global financial institutions, most recently serving as head of Asia-Pacific investment strategy and managing director at Citi Private Bank.

Raffles Family Office has dual headquarters in Hong Kong and Singapore and its presence spans across Asia’s cities, including Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, and Taipei.
