Robeco Korea Announces Head Of Investment Advisory

Dutch asset manager Robeco names a new advisory head for its Korea office.

Robeco Institutional Asset Management, the Dutch asset management firm, has hired a new head of investment advisory for its Korea business.

Ryan Changwon Kim joins the company's Seoul office from Mercer, where he was the Korea investment advisory head. He replaces Ken Park, who was named vice president, marketing and client relations at Oaktree Capital in Hong Kong in August 2013. In this new role, Kim will be responsible for all the firm's affairs in Korea. His old role at Mercer will be absorbed internally by existing staff.

He reports to Tony Edwards, chief executive for Asia-Pacific.

Besides Korea, Robeco has several offices in Asia-Pacific, including India, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia and Shanghai. The Korea branch opened in 2009 after spending a number of years servicing clients out of the Japan office.
