Savills IM Makes New Hire Down Under

Looking to strengthen its presence in Australia, the international real estate investment manager has hired a new portfolio manager.

Savills Investment Management has appointed Annie Li as associate director and portfolio manager at its Sydney branch in a bid to expand its footprint in Australia.

Li has spent more than 15 years in commercial real estate covering the Australian and New Zealand markets. She has experience in the office, industrial, retail and mixed-use sectors across acquisition, asset management, property management and debt financing, and has been involved in over A$1 billion ($765,565) of capital transactions.

Prior to joining Savills IM, Li spent 10 years at GE Capital Real Estate. Earlier in her career, she also held roles at Fosun Property Holdings, DEXUS and AMP.

In her new role, Li will manage existing investments and help grow Savills IM’s Australian platform.

“Annie is joining the Savills IM team during an exciting period of growth in Australia,” said Lee Tredwell, head of investment at Savills IM Australia. “With her knowledge and experience of the Australian property market, I believe she will be an important addition to our team as we seek to expand further in the Asia-Pacific region.”
