Singapore-Based Digital Marketplace Widens Alliances

The firm, which used to be called Fundnel, uses its blockchain-powered exchange to support tokenization, digital custody and trading alternative assets. It has completed over 1,000 transactions since 2016.

Alta, the Southeast Asian digital marketplace for alternative assets, is partnering with Singapore-based investment bank Evolve Capital. It is expanding its platform to Hong Kong by partnering with multi-family office platforms Rockpool Capital, Cachet Group and securities brokerage Quam Securities. Alta now has nine member firms.

The new membership firms can list opportunities and give their investors direct access to Alta’s platform.

The platform provides access to global private companies, global private equity credit funds and real assets of rare whisky and wines.

Other partner firms are Singapore-based broker Phillip Securities, corporate finance firm PrimePartners and investment platform Kilde.

Formerly called Fundnel, Alta is bringing its private capital markets, fund management, and exchange businesses under one roof, using its blockchain-powered exchange to support tokenization, digital custody, and trading of alternative assets.

Since 2016, Alta has completed more than 1,000 transactions valued in excess of $600 million and has created access for investors to invest in more than $22 billion worth of mandated opportunities globally.
