Singaporean Investment House Cheered By Fund Award

A Singapore-based investment management house has seen one of its funds cited as best in class at a recent awards event.

Silverdale Capital, the Singapore-based fund management company, has had one of its funds judged as “Best US dollar Bond Fund (3 years)" by Al Hedge Funds, sponsored by the BarclayHedge organisation.

The award was given because of the fund’s consistent delivery of superior risk-adjusted returns, Silverdale Capital, which is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, said in a statement. The fund, called Silverdale Bond Fund, has returned an average of 11 per cent per year over a three-year period, it said. (Returns are based on net asset value growth plus reinvested dividends.)

Founded in 2008, Silverdale Capital oversees a range of funds and provides investment solutions for private banks, family offices, external asset managers and ultra-high net worth individuals.
